A vibrant hand painted silk scarf in various hues of foam green, blue, and purple. This silk was painted to in reference to an image of purple lilies floating in a pond. It is made of light weight Habotai silk which is renowned for its fineness, softness, and sheen. I painted it using Jacquard Green Label fabric dyes as well as salt for a starburst effect and alcohol to push colors away in certain areas.

Please be advised, each one-of-a-kind original silk needs to be stretch with fishhooks before painting. If you look closely, you may be able to see where it was stretched. This won't be noticeable to your admirers.
